# Changing Item Quantity

Learn how to update the product's quantity on the Point-of-Sale

# Keypad Mode

Ensuring that you're in the appropriate keypad mode is very important. The keypad has 3 different modes, Qty (Quantity), % (Discount Percentage) and Price. We will cover all the modes in the POS keypad in a different section. You can access them here. \

By default, the keypad starts in Quantity mode, which allows the modification of the quantity for the particular line item that is highlighted. This is the mode you need to be in for this to be successful.
